ASUS, the leading IT company specializing in servers, server motherboards, and workstations, today announces its intention to exhibit at the SC20 virtual event — one of the largest online showcases for high-performance computing (HPC), networking, storage, and analysis, held on November 17–19, 2020. As an industrial leader in GPU-accelerated servers, ASUS will use its SC20 platform to announce new and expanded GPU support for ESC4000A-E10, the AMD EPYC-based GPU server.
In addition to existing support for up to four double-slot PCI Express 4.0 (PCIe 4.0) GPUs, ESC4000A-E10 has been upgraded to accommodate up to eight single-slot GPUs — ideal for real-time AI inferencing and edge computing in data centers. This expanded support also extends ESC4000A-E10’s GPU compatibility, including NVIDIA A100, NVIDIA Tesla, NVIDIA Quadro, and NVIDIA T4. This support is expected to be available by the end of December 2020.
