Falcons of Majlis, the UAE’s first trust-led startup investment platform produced by NKN Media and mentored by actor-entrepreneur Suneil Shetty, has unveiled its four principal investors—leaders playing a significant role in shaping the country’s evolving startup landscape.
The announcement comes as the UAE continues to strengthen its position as a global innovation hub, with more than 5,600 startups operating across the country. Backed by strong investor confidence and long-term growth strategies, the ecosystem is attracting increasing global attention. Initiatives like Falcons of Majlis aim to accelerate this momentum by connecting promising founders with capital and mentorship.
The investor lineup includes Maqsood Mohammed, Founder and Chairman of AFM Holding, known for ventures across AI, energy, e-commerce, and media; Dhiraj Kantilal Jain, Founder and Chairman of 1XL Holdings, who focuses on building scalable businesses; Rakesh Mirchandani, Co-Founder and CEO of RNR International Real Estate; and Sanjay Dhawan, Founder and CEO of Habitat Real Estate. Together, they bring expertise spanning investment, venture building, and global market expansion.
Guiding the platform is Suneil Shetty, who serves as a mentor focused on identifying founders with strong vision and execution capability. His role emphasizes readiness and substance over presentation, ensuring only high-potential startups gain access to the platform.
Produced under the leadership of Abdul Majid Khan, Falcons of Majlis follows a structured format that includes founder storytelling, expert evaluation, and private investor discussions. The first season is dedicated exclusively to UAE-based startups and will be hosted by Chitrangada Singh, with broadcast on India Today and Aaj Tak, alongside OTT streaming distribution.
