ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has launched a new lineup of gaming notebook products at the Be Unstoppable 2019 the Middle East regional launch event. Highlighted by the world’s first true desktop replacement notebook the ROG Mothership, the company also announced the compact yet powerful ROG Zephyrus S (GX502) and will be the first to bring a 240-hertz refresh rate panel monitor to the region with the arrival of the Scar III (G731). The latest ROG gaming laptops offer serious utility to both competitive gamers and creative professionals.

The factory overclocked core is complemented by a RAID 0 array with three NVMe SSDs, plus next-generation networking that enables greater than gigabit speeds for both wired and wireless connections. Thermals have also been significantly upgraded as the ROG ‘Mothership’ consist of a Thermal Grizzly liquid metal safely ensconced within a thermal fence on the heatblock instead of regular thermal paste. This reduces the CPU temperature but up to 14 degrees Celsius for better performance and product life. CNC machines carve blocks of solid aluminum to create the main pieces for the chassis and keyboard. The painstaking process takes 114 tooling stages and nearly 20 hours to shape every little detail, then each piece is brushed and anodized to add a premium finish. This produces an exquisite body that’s stylish enough to turn heads and strong enough to withstand the knocks and bumps of life on the road.
