The 4th edition of the HR Tech MENA Summit that brought over 350 attendees concluded at the Palazzo Versace in Dubai. The event brought the curtains down on two power-packed days of presentations and discussions around critical issues affecting the region’s HR industry, particularly the impact of technology on workplace productivity and the skills needed for jobs of the future.
The annual Summit, organized by Dubai-based QnA International and officially supported by the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, provided a rare opportunity for HR professionals in the Middle East to meet and interact with experts and technology leaders from around the world in order to keep themselves — and their organizations — abreast of the latest technological trends shaping the future of work.
Following a series of insightful keynotes and panel discussions on Day 1, the second and final day of the Summit kicked off on Tuesday morning with two parallel sessions, as part of a new format introduced at this year’s edition, that revolved around the themes of ‘Talent Tech’ and ‘Learning and Development Tech’. The topics on Day 2 included modern talent management practices and the different approaches in driving talent strategy in the digital age, to the rapidly changing role of a CLO (Chief Learning Officer) and the rising need for organizations to make the move from traditional to digital learning ecosystem.
